Non-Western World Cinema Tenure-Track Job Opening
The School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University is seeking an Assistant Professor (tenure track) of non-Western world cinema. The geographical, historical and theoretical parameters of specialization are open, though priority will be given to candidates whose research and teaching profiles complement our existing strengths in the filmmaking of Europe and the Americas. Teaching and research responsibilities will be distributed between the Programs in Cinema Studies and Comparative Literature, and a home department to be determined based on the successful candidate’s particular field(s) of expertise. Candidates must have the Ph.D. in hand by the time employment begins.
