The Diary of Arshalouys "Aurora" Mardigian The Program is going to include a screening of the 1919 American - made silent film "Ravished Armenia." It is the eyewitness stroy of an Armenian girl who survived the deportations and massacres of the Armenians during the 20th Centruy's first genocide.
Anthony Slide, a renouwned silent film historian, will be discussing the film, his interview with Arshalouys in the 1980's and the book he wrote about the film.
