Virtual JFK: Vietnam, If Kennedy Had Lived - Koji Masutani Virtual JFK is a compelling investigation of one of the most debated scenarios in American history: What would have happened in Vietnam if President John F. Kennedy had not been assassinated? Structured like a detective story told through documents put into a time capsule, the film makes use of an impressive array of resources including recently declassified documents, audio tapes, photographic and archival material, and testimonies from Kennedy and Johnson administration officials. As the film examines Kennedy’s decision-making on issues of war and peace, it also serves as a case study of the ways in which American presidents have entered into covert wars. 2008; 85 min.
